WANETTE TURNER, FOUNDER OF MUSIC AMPLIFIES
Wanette's grandfather told her, 'There is so much good that can be done in this life as long as you don't care who gets the credit." After years of working with children and youth at her church, she knew she wanted to do something for families with children, after seeing so much poverty. Wanette toured as an entertainer for many years and is now a tv audience producer, author, singer/songwriter and mother of a fast rising country artist, in Nashville.
"One day after being around music and witnessing its power to inspire, heal, to move and lift people up, I realized that there are many musical artists and industry professionals who have amazing influence, but haven't necessarily figured out a way to give back to the very people who support their music and careers yet. Music Amplifies was birthed from this realization, " says Wanette.

April is President of April Potter Entertainment, a full-service entertainment company specializing in tour scheduling, artist management, social media, event planning and marketing. Located in Nashville, TN, their broad talent roster has performed in everything from auditoriums to arenas, including Rock, Country, Gospel, Christian, Bluegrass and Tribute Bands. Steve was a music ambassador for us who went above and beyond and became our newest board member! We are so impressed with his hard work ethic and willing to serve the least of these.
Steve is also a TV Host and Emcee of the Sound of Small Town America. He is enjoying being the reigning ICMA Male Vocalist of the Year and we are thrilled to have him be a part of our Board!

Cindy Coleman, Secretary/Treasurer of M.A. Retired 1st Responder & Entrepreneur
Cindy moved to Nashville in March, 1990 and lived with a roommate from college at the University of Evansville, where she earned her BSN. Her first job in TN was at Baptist Hospital; She retired from nursing after 30 years in 2018, although she did pick up a side-gig as a Pampered Chef Independent Consultant in 2019. She and her husband Tim (Chief of Berry Hill PD) live in Goodlettsville, TN and have been married for 27 years. Their daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren live in Murfreesboro, TN. She is an active member of The Church at Avenue South in Nashville. Her hobbies include family, church, travel, animals, football, and of course music!
Cindy has always felt the Lord has abundantly blessed her and placed a desire within her to help those who may be in a season of need. Of course, as a nurse, she already had a heart of service and we are fortunate that she chose us to serve through!
Cindy said recently, "As Lainey Wilson has said, 'If you're gonna be a dreamer, you better be a doer.' Let's all come together as DOERS to support the less fortunate in our Middle TN community and AMP UP. I can't wait to meet and work with each of you as Music Amplifies continues to grow!" ANGELA SLOAN, CHRISTIAN EDUCATOR & COUNSELOR
Angela Sloan is an Ordained Minister with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Christian Education through Heritage International Bible College and Seminary, a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, a Certified Temperament Counselor, a Professional Clinical Member of the National Christian Counselors Association with many years experience in teaching Biblically based women’s studies, as well as, corporate workforce training prior to her becoming a counselor.
Angela loves to help others and volunteers for many charities throughout the year. She delights in her role as mother and grandmother and has been married to her husband Craig, since 2007.
We are so excited to have Angela join our Board of Directors this year. She will be a tremendous blessing to us.

Diane is the Executive Director/Radio Committee Director of the Inspirational Country Music Association. The ICMA is a non-profit organization committed to deepening the impact of Christian Country Music and its creators through Support, Outreach, Advancement, and Recognition (S.O.A.R) They exist to celebrate and empower the efforts of those who masterfully combine Country Music with messages of the Christian faith for the cause of the Gospel.
They believe Christian Country Music has a unique and powerful ability to resonate with the heart while connecting its listeners to God and others. They want … to be known for their Christ-centeredness, integrity, professionalism, creative excellence, and compassion.
Diane is a true visionary! Music Amplifies is so blessed to have her as part of our board of directors. There is no one who will go farther to see us succeed as she. Pulling resources, partnering, networking and connecting people is one of her strong points and we are so glad to have her believe in our vision and help us achieve!
