I want to offer hope to kids and let them know that social status does not define who they are. I want my story to encourage them to never give up on your dreams. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunities I have been given. Work hard and you can do anything you want to do.”

Mike was born in rural, mountainous Hot Springs/Spring Creek, NC. With his home located near the Appalachian Trail, Mike fondly remembers boyhood days of working on the farm, swimming in the river and creeks, fishing, and hunting. More telling though for Mike's future music story, however, is how he began his inspiring education and journey into the world of music, which was introduced to him by his parents and family. Mike's parents were both talented musicians. They started a band called JL and the Country Squires, which become well-known for their hit song, "Living in the Present, Loving in the Past." Mike can play just about any instrument, due to his family's influence and has worked alongside many recognizable artists, such as Jimmie Dickens, The Kendalls, Kitty Wells and Archie Campbell.
When Mike turned 18, he joined the military. He had many great life changing experiences serving in the Marines, and after several years, Mike switched over and became a Navy Fleet Marine Force Corpsman (A DOC). Mike is an awarded veteran with two Presidential awards and many Navy Achievement Medals and Marine Corps Commendation awards.
In addition to music and military service, Mike has served as Youth Development Specialist at the Boys & Girls Club in Beaufort, SC. He is also the CEO of www.srejams.com .
Mike always kept music in his life and today he is a touring singer/songwriter artist, serving as a Music Amplifies Ambassador, as well and a hit song and video going viral online with a signature line dance! See links below.
Mike's music motto that he follows not only in his music but in his own life is, " Do good, feel good, repeat." These words are beautifully designed and printed on his van. From his talented music to his service in the Marines and Navy, all while giving back to the community and his fellow service members, these are words that Mike truly lives by.

Elaine began singing at the age of five and music has been a part of her life ever since. "Music is in my DNA," says Elaine. She credits her mother's side of the family for her musical talent. The Roy side of the family loved country, bluegrass and gospel music. That is what she grew up on and that is the music she loves. Elaine learned to play guitar at 10 on a Gibson her dad had purchased for $100. She still has that guitar to this day. Elaine's younger brother, Lee, at age nine, formed a duo with Elaine aptly named, "The Roys." With Lee playing mandolin and Elaine on guitar, they developed that sweet sibling harmony that just came naturally. They began honing their writing skills and after a brief move to Nashville in 1990, they moved back to Nashville in 2006 permanently. Their dream of performing on the Grand Ole Opry came true and they toured internationally and appeared on national television shows. After many years of this, Lee decided to follow a different path for his family. At this point Elaine had to find herself again without Lee by her side after all these years together. Elaine began writing and singing again and gained the attention of Grace Records Nashville, whom she signed with recently. Elaine's new sing, "Heading In a New Direction," was penned by Elaine and Vince Gill appears courtesy of MCA Nashville on harmonies and released on August 11th, 2023. Elaine shares, "I feel a new excitement about music and look forward to where God leads me on this journey."
Thank you, Elaine for joining us as an Ambassador for 2024-25! We look forward to growing with you! Reach out to Elaine for bookings at butterfly.wingslady@yahoo.com.

THANK YOU, JESSICA FOR JOINING US AS AN AMBASSADOR!
Nashville recording artist and singer-songwriter, Jessica McNear is proof that hard work can make it possible for somebody living in Smalltown, USA to find success in today’s competitive music industry. The native of tiny Freedom, Pennsylvania has grown from her early days singing in her church choir into a professional singer and music collaborator in Music City.
Jessica’s debut EP, Leavin’ Home, was inspired by her decision to relocate from Pittsburgh to Nashville when she was just 20 years-old. Assisting Jessica with the creation of the EP were Sonic Eden’s, John Albani (collaborated on projects involving tours for acts such as RUSH, Black Sabbath, and Jon Bon Jovi) and Mark Oliverius (worked with country legacy artists, Lorrie Morgan and Pam Tillis).
Make sure to check out her Music and Merch Shop on her website and get on the email list so you can be the first to receive, new music, shows, contests, updates and more!
Jessica's new release, "Center Line".
We are so excited to have Jessica join us. She has a heart for kids. Thanks for amping up, Jessica!
ALEX TINKER is an Americana Songwriter and Artist from the Foothills of Appalachia just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. However, after meeting his Nashville-native wife Jordin, this Northerner got hitched and now calls Gallatin, TN his home. With a myriad of influence from different musicians, ranging from traditional country heroes like Kristofferson, Cash and Waylon; 90's Rock, and modern Country heroes like Darius Rucker; adding in just a dash of Dobro, Hammond Organ, and Dulcimer, he makes a sound all his own!
Alex released his first studio recording on October 13th, 2023, titled "Beehive Coke". It's a rich homage to the first ridge of Appalachia and the hardworking men and women that make the culture what it is. It can be found on all streaming platforms.
Additionally, Alex is an Emcee around the Nashville area (Fox & Locke, Leiper's Fork, TN), as well as host of a few Podcasts. However, He'll tell you all about that!
